A good sign

Temp: 98.2
Time Taken: 6:00am
CD: 25
DPO: 8

I am getting so anxious. I want to test soon, but Aaron prefers to simply wait until my period is late and then test. He said he doesn't want the disappointment if we test too early and the test comes back negative.

In the meantime, it's driving me bananas! I tell you, the waiting is the worst. I feel like I'm living in two week incriments.

Anyways, my temp rose today after being stuck at 97.9, and if I am pregnant, it will continue to rise. We're hopeful after the jump today.

Keep those good thoughts coming!

Showtime!

Temp: 97.9
Time Taken: 6:30am
CD: 18
DPO: 1

Ovulation occured yesterday according to my temp today. (rise of at least .4 degress) One attempt tonight for good measure and we'll see if pregnancy occured in about 2 two weeks. I will be watching in about 5 days to see if there is an implantation dip, which is just a drop in my temperature meaning implantation occured.

Wish us luck!!

No Ovulation

Temp: 97.4
Time Taken: 6:05am
CD: 17
DPO: 0

No ovulation like I thought last night. Still feel the pain, so I know it's coming.

I'm thinking of taking SJ's advice and perhaps give temping a rest next month. Still posting, just not temping. You know, give my mind a break and see if something happens naturally.

Questioning.

Temp: 97.4
Time Taken: 6:00am
CD: 16
DPO: 0

Hmmm. Either I'm taking a little longer to ovulate this month, or I'm really bad at charting. A little bit of pain yesterday I thought meant I was ovulating. Of course, I still feel it today, so maybe I am today. My temp dipped a little today which could mean a pre-ovulation dip. If that temp goes up tomorrow or the next day, I'll know I'm doing it right. An attempt was made last night anyways, because CM was high, which is a sign of fertility.

Knowing your body

Temp: 97.6
Time Taken: 5:30
CD: 15
DPO: 0

So I didn't ovulate this weekend. I know this because my temp has been 97.6 the past two days. Again, it will jump at least .4 degrees when I ovulate. Although, for some freakish reason, I'll wake up just a bit early, like today and then freak out if I don't take my temp right then, feeling like if I fall back asleep, I'll throw the results. Because, just to reiterate, the point is to take it immediately upon waking. Before, tossing and turning, before getting up to use the bathroom. Anything.

So, today at lunch, it may just be my mind playing tricks on me, but like last month, I'm having some pain in my lower abdomen. I realize this means ovulation and that's why we didn't get pregnant last month. (I'm assuming) I was in pain and shyed away from intercourse when in reality we shouldn't have, because that's when I ovulated.

At any rate, we'll see about attempting tonight and see if there's a spike in my temp tomorrow morning. Wish us luck.

Tonight's the night

Temp: 97.6
Time Taken: 5:30am
CD: 13
DPO: 0

If history repeats itself, I ovulated on CD 13 last month and if all goes well, tonight's the night.

How fitting, because we're celebrating Valentine's day today instead of Monday.

Viva la babies!!

All about timing

Temp: 97.5
Time Taken: 6:30
CD: 11
DPO: 0

According to my chart last month, I ovulated on cycle day 13. These next couple of days for us can be crucial to timing pregnancy. Once ovulation occurs, there is little chance of becoming pregnant at that point. However, it is typically a good idea to plan intercourse maybe a day or two after your temperature rises anyways. Just for good measure. So, now you know our weekend plans. :)

Nothing new under the moon

Temp: 97.4
Time Taken: 6:30
CD: 10
DPO: 0

Not much on this front. I've begun the fertile phase and we are attempting when we can. Temp is right on track since this is still the beginning of my cycle. One of the charts I'm using suggests that I will ovulate on Sunday. Of course this is only a prediction, however, anything to up our chances right?

Happy Hump Day!

Temp: 97.8
Time Taken: 6:30am
CD: 5
DPO: 0

My temp is unusually high for the beginning of my cycle. It may be due to the fact that I have been feeling a little restless.

Tomorrow I will begin to record CM and be more aware of my temp as I should be entering the beginning of my fertile phase any day now.

Happy Friday!!!

Can we say, "Didn't want to get out of bed today?"

Even if you can't, I said it enough for the entire sleep loving world today.

Oh how I love being a woman

Temp: 97.5
Time Taken:6:30
CD: 2
DPO: 0

Oy. Almost instantly after I posted yesterday, the faucet was turned on. This one is a doosey! I feel like my insides are being ripped out. Do you think anyone will mind, and or notice me walking around with a heating pad strapped to my abdomen? Yes? Nevermind then.

So I'm looking over all of my charts to decide when I'm going to be most fertile this month, and one chart lists the days of Feb. 8-15th. Now, if I can just convince Aaron that we need to make an attempt every one of those nights, we might just make a baby this month. In this case, I don't think reverse psychology will help.
